From the après hotspots of the Tarentaise valley, we are bringing Sunset Sons to headline the Ski Club of Great Britain Stage at the Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Festival.
With roots in the Alpine après scene and the surf towns of Western France, Sunset Sons will bring their high energy live show to Battersea park to light up Saturday night’s entertainment. Carefree and raucous, the band’s catalogue of tunes is the perfect soundtrack to one of the biggest UK events on the snowsports calendar.
This year the Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Festival runs from 25-28 October 2018 and The Ski Club of Great Britain is hosting a brand new air stream stage for après acts and entertainment all weekend. Located next to Mount Battersea in the heart of the mountain village, the stage will host brilliant performances including the popular Famous First Words event and will be headlined by Sunset Sons.
Following the release of their incredible debut album ‘Very Rarely Say Die’, which was written in the Alps, the surf-and-snow-loving trio has continued to make waves. The band recently sold out their two London headline shows in under 24 hours, which coincided with their ‘The River’ EP earlier this July - a summer favourite in the Ski Club office. The band have been hard at work on new material with their next album dropping later this year, we can’t think of a better time to catch them in concert.
Hailing from different corners of the UK and Australia, the band’s following also spreads far and wide, and it’s easy to see why. If you aren’t already, get familiar with Sunset Son’s sound on Spotify and YouTube.
