Unfortunately there's not much to report from the Alps, it's STILL snowing.
If you’ve currently lacking in new year’s plans, or just don’t want to hang out with that one mate who’s always a liability, now might be the time to trade in that overpriced bar for some snow filled mountains in time for the new year’s! Ok so we can’t improve on the overpriced bars, but with reports showing resorts like VT, Tignes and Les Arcs each receiving 80cm over the next 48 hours! Along with this snow, we’re looking at some rising temps, hopefully meaning none of your champagne will be freezing on the way to your lips while you’re bringing in the New Year!
Once we hit 2018, get ready to celebrate the new year in the best possible way – riding some fresh powder – there’s no sign of the snowfall easing up, though it may get a little softer due to some rising temperatures – probably no bad thing for those hangover wobbles.
Anyone spending the new years in Andorra, you’re out of luck – skies are looking emptier than your post-Christmas bank balance.
And always for the latest extensive snow report read a super detailed worldwide report on the Ski Club website.
